GE Energy to supply 200 wind turbines to enXco
(23/06/2008)
enXco, the US subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, has signed another contract with General Electric Energy covering the supply of 200 turbines with 300 MW in capacity.
The turbines with unit capacity of 1.5 MW are due to be delivered in 2010. They are intended for use in the wind energy projects being developed by enXco.
This order follows on from a similar order signed in December 2007 covering 300 MW due for delivery in 2009 and will strengthen the relationship built over several years between EDF Energies Nouvelles and GE Energy.
