New Citroen C2 car emits one of the lowest carbon dioxide levels on the market 
French manufacturer Citroen has unveiled the new 1.6-litre engine C2 diesel car to add to its ever-increasing range of models. The new economical car model which emits one of the lowest carbon dioxide levels on the market.
The C2 offers an impressive 64 mpg fuel economy while emitting just 119 g/km of carbon dioxide, making it one of the greenest models in the Citroen range. This means that the model falls into one of the government's lowest bands for Vehicle Excise Duty, band B.
Furthermore, the C2 offers 80 per cent more torque than the previous C2 model and can reach a top speed of 120 mph.
Earlier in the month, Citroen, along with its sister manufacturer Peugeot, announced that all its cars will qualify for the band B tax range by 2015.
