Swansea's paper recycled into quality newsprint

The City and County of Swansea has renewed its contract with Aylesford Newsprint ensuring that the area’s recovered paper will continue to be recycled into quality newsprint for use in some of Europe’s top publishing houses. Fee recycling in Mid Devon schools encourages youngsters to recycle

Mid Devon District Council has re-introduced free recycling to more than 40 Mid Devon schools. Schools within the area are now provided with up to six recycling boxes to collect at least two materials, including paper. Slow Recycling helps Welsh householders and businesses to move towards zero waste

A new one year pilot project in Presteigne and Norton in Wales is challenging 1,200 householders and approximately 100 businesses to move towards zero waste. The first stage of the project focuses on households and businesses, whilst the second focuses on levering manufacturers to produce products which can be easily reused or recycled by consumers.
