With schools in Warwickshire spending almost £400,000 a year on waste disposal, Warwickshire County Council were keen for the schools to find an alternative method to landfill. Leading organisations commit to halve construction waste to landfill(17/03/2009)
The reduction of construction waste is a key focus for the industry and WRAP's Halving Waste to Landfill commitment is a voluntary framework devised to help achieve a 50% reduction in construction, demolition and excavation waste sent to landfill by 2012.
