Wood pellet boilers and solar thermal collectors supply all the heating to schools in Powys County(04/10/2010)
Powys County Council is meeting the stringent low-carbon standards now expected of new public buildings by using biomass heating systems within a number of new schools. To date the council has installed a number of Ökofen wood pellet boilers supplied by Organic Energy with more planned.
