Merton Council shares the merits of the Merton Rule with Spanish Federation of Local Authorities(20/03/2009)
Merton Council has welcomed members from the Spanish Federation of Local Authorities (FEMP) to the borough to share with them the merits of the Merton Rule and the future of monitoring and researching carbon dioxide emissions. The Merton Rule is the planning policy developed by Merton Council which requires all new buildings to cut CO2 emissions by 10% using renewable energy on site.
