Constellation Energy opens 70MW Criterion Wind Project(08/08/2011)
Constellation Energy has officially opened the 70MW Criterion Wind Project. It is the first wind facility to be built and operated in Maryland, and consists of 28 wind turbines constructed over an eight-mile stretch along Backbone Mountain in Garrett County. Constellation Energy acquires Criterion wind project(08/04/2010)
Constellation Energy has closed its agreement with Clipper Windpower, Inc., to acquire the Criterion wind project in Garrett County, Md., and to purchase 28 Clipper Liberty 2.5-megawatt wind turbines for the project.
