The University of Glamorgan, near Pontypridd in South Wales, has developed a 16-seater vehicle, which is powered by a hydrogen fuel cell. The minibus is being showcased around the UK as an example of the potential of environmentally-friendly vehicles.
Experts at the university hope that the minibus will be the first in a long line of technological developments using fuel cell technology to deliver eco-friendly modes of transport and for use as other power sources.
