enXco, the US subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles has announced the signing of a power purchase agreement with the Southern Minnesota Municipal Power Agency (SMMPA).
The 20-year agreement covers the sale of the electricity generated by the 100.5 MW Wapsipinicon wind farm currently being developed in Mower County, Minnesota.

enXco, the US subsidiary of EDF Energies Nouvelles, has signed another contract with General Electric Energy covering the supply of 200 turbines with 300 MW in capacity.
The turbines with unit capacity of 1.5 MW are due to be delivered in 2010. They are intended for use in the wind energy projects being developed by enXco.

The AWE 900 kW wind turbine was successfully erected at the Wray School District in Wray Colorado. Erection in winter is always challenging and exciting but the installation went off without a hitch.
