Moog has inaugurated its new Wind Training Center in Unna, Germany. The 1,300 m² (14,000 ft²) facility is designed to provide technical training programs to Moog’s global wind energy customer base. Moog acquires majority of wind turbine pitch control company Insensys

Moog Inc. has acquired 70 percent of the stock of Insensys Ltd. for US$15.7 million in cash. As part of the transaction, Moog has an option to purchase the remaining 30 percent within one year. Insensys is a supplier of pitch control and rotor blade monitoring systems for wind turbines.
