Kier Stoke has fitted 198 solar panels onto the south and south-west facing roofs of the Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s Civic Centre. Last September the authority signed a trailblazing agreement with energy supplier E.ON which will deliver millions of pounds of investment to the city to improve the energy efficiency of homes and use green power to drive down residents’ fuel bills and help combat climate change.
