SunEdison has activated the first phase of its 16-megawatt solar farm in Davidson County, N.C. Suzlon Wind Energy Corporation, the North America arm of Suzlon Energy Limited, has signed a repeat order with Duke Energy, of Charlotte, North Carolina, to provide 20 units of the S88-2.1 megawatt wind turbine. Wyoming environmental commission approves Campbell Hill Windpower Project(16/03/2009)
Under the Wyoming Industrial Development Information and Siting Act, permits are required of all projects with construction costs of $178.9 million or more.
