ShP Limited has secured a global deal with search engine giant Yahoo. The Lancaster based recycling business will help Yahoo meet its CSR objectives by recycling its mobile phones and redundant IT equipment.
The deal means ShP Limited will collect mobile phones from Yahoo’s offices across the world including sites in Belguim, Denmark, Finland, Dublin, Italy and France as well as the Yahoo headquarters in London.

AES Wind Generation has acquired Your Energy Ltd (YEL), a United Kingdom (U.K.) based wind developer, and also has signed an agreement to acquire a 51 percent stake in a wind portfolio from 3E, a Polish wind developer.
Together the investments will add more than 700 MW to AES Wind Generation’s European pipeline and will require $400 million of AES equity over five years. Of that amount, $120 million of AES equity will be invested in order to bring 200 MW into construction by the end of 2011.... [more]
Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited has announced that its principal operating subsidiary in China, Baoding Tianwei Yingli New Energy Resources Co., Ltd. has won a bid to supply approximately 1.5MW of PV modules to China Mobile Communications Corp., the largest mobile phone operator in China.
