Mott MacDonald, a leading management, engineering and development consultancy, has successfully supported financial close as independent engineer for the first utility-scale wind farm in Thailand, which will also be the largest wind farm in south east Asia. Worldwatch Institute: Use and capacity of Global Hydropower increases

Industrialized and developing countries continue to rely on their critical water resources as a renewable electricity source. Community Interest Company Community Energy Solutions (CES) is continuing its partnership with Wakefield Council in an effort to help tackle the town’s fuel poverty. CES which has offices in Leeds Boldon (Tyne and Wear) and Stockton worked alongside Dyson Insulations Ltd to install a 2.2kWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the home of Ryehill residents, Mr. and Mrs Fletcher in December 2011. Following their successful collaboration on the “Global Transport Scenarios 2050” study, the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) and the World Energy Council (WEC) have signed a three year strategic partnership agreement.
